Stocktake without closing the shift

No need to shut the store to recount. The moment you create a stocktake document, Paloma365 records the start time, and every sale, receipt, and write-off after that is counted automatically — so the result stays correct while you keep trading.

  1. Create the documentOpen a stocktake document — Paloma365 marks the exact moment it began.
  2. Count the real stockWalk the shelves and enter what you physically count.
  3. Keep selling if neededThe register stays open — you don't have to pause trade.
  4. Enter the balancesRecord the quantity you counted for each item.
  5. Post the documentOn posting, every sale, receipt, and write-off made after the start time is applied on top automatically.
Example

At 10:00 an item shows 100 units in stock. Between 10:00 and 10:30 you sell 8. You count 92 on the shelf — after posting, the system adds the sales made after the start, so there's no discrepancy.

One rule

Count each item only once.
